I have two decades of self-employment and business experience - both as sole proprietor and incorporated company - in the cultural industries. I founded businesses in communications, publishing, the arts and screen media, and I’ve worked with the music industry, the performing arts and heritage institutions. As a longtime board member of two industry associations, I am active in the trenches of community economic development.

I see things through an entrepreneurial lens, and I bring entrepreneurial values to my work: curiosity, risk-taking, authenticity, resilience. I love sharing what I know about cultural entrepreneurship and welcome inquiries about speaking engagements and mentorships.
